Relationships Can Become Places of Healing

One of my deepest beliefs is that we heal in relationship.

Our closest relationships have the power to touch places within us that nothing else can. They can awaken profound love, belonging, joy, and connection. They can also activate old wounds, protective patterns, and nervous system responses that neither partner consciously chooses.

Most people don't enter relationships hoping to hurt one another. Yet many couples find themselves caught in cycles where both people leave feeling unseen, misunderstood, or alone.

My work is about helping you interrupt those cycles - not simply by changing your communication, but by healing what keeps creating them.

My hope is that your relationship becomes a place where both people can grow, repair, and become agents of one another's healing rather than unconscious participants in one another's trauma.

My Approach

When I first entered graduate school, I imagined becoming a couples therapist. As I trained in the major couples therapy models, I kept noticing something. Many couples already knew the communication skills. They understood active listening. They knew how to use "I" statements. They genuinely wanted to stop hurting each other.

But when old trauma, attachment wounds, or nervous system activation showed up, all of those tools suddenly became difficult to access.

Rather than focusing solely on couples therapy, I spent years studying trauma, Internal Family Systems (IFS), nervous system healing, and integrative approaches that help people not only understand intellectually how they feel and how to communicate, but how to actually heal from the trauma itself.

Today I bring those perspectives back into relationship work. Because when we understand—and begin healing—the deeper patterns beneath the conflict, the relationship itself begins to transform.

Who I Love Working With

I work with couples and partners who are genuinely committed to growth. Many of the people I work with have already been to therapy. They've read the books. They've learned the skills. Yet they still find themselves pulled back into the same painful dynamics.

They're ready for something deeper.

My practice is intentionally LGBTQIA+ affirming and welcoming of the full diversity of consensual relationship structures, including monogamous, queer, non-monogamous, polyamorous, and other forms of partnership.

I don't believe there is one "right" way to build a relationship. What matters to me is helping you create a relationship that feels authentic, emotionally honest, and capable of supporting both partners' healing. Every relationship deserves the opportunity to become a place where people are transformed by love rather than constrained by old survival strategies.

My work is grounded in both evidence-based trauma therapy and a deeply intuitive, spiritual lens. Internal Family Systems (IFS) is the foundation of my approach, and when it feels supportive, I may also incorporate astrology or other intuitive practices.

You don't need to know anything about astrology to work with me. But you do need to be open to exploring healing through both psychological and spiritual perspectives. If you're looking for a therapist who practices from a strictly clinical or purely secular framework, I may not be the best fit.
